Session: Data Stream Mining – The Value of Data

Donnerstag, 21. September 2017, 11:15 – 12:15 Uhr @ Suite 616 (Arcotel Onyx)

The infrastructure of modern societies is largely dependent on data streams. Data gets thrown around in the music ecosystem and can be transformed into valuable insight to optimize business decisions. In the music ecosystem in which the collection, administration, and evaluation of digital information play an increasingly important role, we would like to take a deeper look at the impact of data streams. Different aspects of how to visualize and analyze music consumption in connection with music creation, music metadata, music marketing and music discovery are at the focus. Our panelists break down the meanings behind the numbers and show how accurate interpretation of data leads to better marketing decisions, leading to revenue growth and increased market share. This panel will reflect the current state of collection and evaluation of data streams.
